Is there a big jump between iPhone 11 and iPhone XR?
After seeing that the iPhone 11 was back, we saw that there is no brutal generation gap with the iPhone XR. The main difference comes from the fact that Apple has focused on improving the camera of the device in addition to the autonomy and power with the new A13 Bionic processor. If we are honest about what we have seen on this device, it is likely that if you don’t take many photos with your iPhone, you will probably not end up taking advantage of the new features we see on iPhone 11, and you may also not take advantage of the difference in price for the camera upgrade.
In the tests we were able to do, the iPhone XR offers great photographic quality but, as you can see in the specifications table, the cameras now included in iPhone 11 offer greater photographic features that will make the result much better. For example , we have the new wide angle that will make our photos capture a greater vision or not cut anyone when we are making a photo thanks to this wide angle as it opens the angle of vision up to 120 º. There is also a noticeable improvement in the portrait mode and the arrival of the night mode will make the result much better if you take pictures at night.
Obviously in the front camera we also see an important change since we went from 7 to 12MP something that was very demanded by many users. In addition, we will also be able to make video recordings with the front camera of much higher quality, up to 4K, and we will even be able to make slow motion recordings at 120 fps.
In the rest of the features as you can see there are not very important improvements since we have the same screen, a slightly better processor, a bigger battery that promises us d to give us one hour more of autonomy than the XR. Both devices also come with the same accessories such as the 5W charger without the changeover to the 18W charger as if they had done with the iPhone 11 Pro.
In short, we believe that if you’re not a lover of photography you may not be able to pay those 100 euros for a better camera and you’d better go for the iPhone XR that we can find right now for 709 euros in the official store , although if we look in other third party stores we can find it for much less. But if you are a lover of photography and want to have the latest technologies, without a doubt the iPhone 11 is a great device that has little to envy its big brothers.
This is obviously our vision on the role of these two new iPhones that we are looking forward to facing each other. Leave us in the comment box how you see it, which one do you think is a better device and which one is worth buying now?
