However, it’s always interesting to discover new options. One of them is ClipHouse .
ClipHouse is an OS X utility that allows us to manage the material we record with cameras such as Blackmagic, Canon with Magic Lantern Firmware, KineRAW, Bolex D16 and others. For this we will have four spaces:
- Copy, where to import and verify the material
- Manage, for reproduction and management
- Color, where we can control exposure, temperature, color correction…
- Export, which as clearly indicated allows us to create files in ProRes or H.264
This application does not replace your editor, nor Resolve as a color correction application but rather is a complement (all its functions here). It helps you to manage your material before importing it into your editor and starting the project. So, we verify, select the clips and that part of them (inout) are valid, we can make backups of the footage and ultimately help us in the recordings to comfortably see what we are filming.
The price of ClipHouse is $49 for a one-year license and $129 for a permanent one. Anyway, before you buy, you can try the demo version.
