As they had already advanced from Realmac, Clear, one of the most minimalist and functional task managers of all those abounding in the App Store, has finally received a new update, whose main novelty is the inclusion of reminders.
In the company, responsible for applications for iOS and OS X as Ember, Analog Camera or RapidWeaver, have learned from their mistakes and concentrate all their efforts to achieve the implementation of reminders as simple and intuitive as possible.
Although it has been prayed for, there is no doubt that this update will give an important plus to the application , in its difficult task of making a gap between heavyweights, such as Things, Wunderlist or Any.do.
In addition to the creation of tasks, lists and reminders, it will now be possible to customize sounds and alarms ; however, it should be noted that, as long as we have not paid for the now defunct Clear+, if we want to get the two new sound packages available, we will have to go through the checkout.
A clear wink to those who, back in December, agreed to pay 4.49 euros for a new universal application adapted to iOS 7 . Finally, it has been revealed that these additional packs will arrive at Clear for OS X completely free of charge.
Realmac may threaten to take a hit on the table and position Clear as one of the best tasks for the Apple ecosystem, but it doesn’t end there, and a good sign of this is that they have stated that there are many surprises in store for us in the coming months.
And what do you think of the update? Are you a Clear regular or do you prefer other applications?
