Tras el parón de la WWDC17 Apple lanza la tercera beta de iOS 10.3.3, macOS Sierra 10.12.6, watchOS 3.2.3 y tvOS 10.2.2
A week ago Apple released the third beta of iOS 10.3.3, the latest version of iOS before the release of iOS 11 in the fall. This version started to be developed before WWDC but there was a hiatus due to WWDC17. On the other hand, just yesterday we saw Apple releasing the second beta of iOS 11 as well as macOS High Sierra, tvOs 11 and watchOS 4. Today it was the turn of the fourth beta of iOS 10.3.3 , which is getting closer and closer to the final version.
The fourth beta of iOS 10.3.3 is available to developers only , and will appear as an update available to all those who are registered as developers or have a previous beta installed. Like the previous ones, it focuses on fixing bugs, improving performance and consolidating system security.
In the first three betas, there were no interesting developments for iOS. We could only see new wallpapers for the iPad. So, this suggests that iOS 10.3.3 is simply a minor security update . All important new features have already been reserved for iOS 11.
The final version of iOS 10.3.3 is expected to be released in a couple of weeks Normally Apple releases about six or seven betas of a version before the final version for the whole public. Being this release in mid-summer, it will probably be the last version we will see before iOS 11 in September. Unless a major security issue is found, which in these cases Apple directly releases a new version fixing it for the whole public.
Also we have a new version of tvOS 10.2.2 , the fourth beta of this version. As in iOS, this is a version that fixes different bugs and security issues. This update is available for all fourth generation Apple TV devices that are registered as developers.
