There are a lot of task managers for the iPhone, but lately we’ve only heard about Clear and it’s always good to discover some new options. Here is Begin, a list of tasks that as Clear focuses on gestures so that we can manage it quickly.
No multiple sections: Begin focuses everything on a single list where we can see the tasks we have pending today and those we have set for tomorrow. We slide our finger down to add a task and up to see the tasks that were scheduled for yesterday and we didn’t finish.
The tasks are also manipulable: we can move them to the right to complete them and to the left to move them to tomorrow (all tasks are scheduled for today by default). And if we want to edit a task, just click twice on it. As in Twitterrific, there is a light theme and a dark theme .
Begin is not a very complete or bloated list of functions, but it may be more than enough for most. It is only available for iPhone, and is free with in-app purchase options such as more themes and colors, reminders, font change or the ability to turn off tasks over the weekend.
