Battery capacity and RAM of the new iPhone 11 Pro

Last September 10th, Apple wanted to highlight that its new iPhone 11 and 11 Pro had up to 5 hours more autonomy than the previous generation. This was undoubtedly great news since the great criticism that could be made to the iPhone was undoubtedly the autonomy as it was difficult to reach the end of the day without the iPhone previously passed through the charger. Although since the Steve Jobs Theater promised us several more hours of battery did not report the technical data of the battery as the capacity of it. Now, a new report released by the Chinese regulatory agency TENAA shows exact data on the capacity of these batteries as well as the amount of RAM they incorporate.

According to the report we referred to at the beginning of this article, each iPhone would have the following battery capacity:

  • iPhone 11: 3,110 mAh (compared with 2,942 mAh on the iPhone XR).
  • iPhone 11 Pro: 3,046 mAh (compared to 2,658 mAh on iPhone XS).
  • iPhone 11 Pro Max: 3,969 mAh (compared to 3174 mah on the iPhone XS Max).

This is without a doubt the largest battery ever built into an iPhone. This increased capacity, coupled with a processor that consumes up to 40% less power , significantly extends device life by up to 5 hours for the iPhone 11 Pro Max compared to the iPhone XS Max. We believe that this is the best way for Apple to address this historical shortcoming in the iPhone. According to the first reviews that we have seen, the iPhone 11 Pro Max can reach up to 50% at the end of the day, which is undoubtedly an outrage.

In addition, this document has also provided us with data on the amount of RAM incorporated in these new iPhones. This has been a very questionable data in recent days because there were quite a few discrepancies with how much RAM these computers include as some analysts and reports pointed out that the iPhone 11 Pro had 6GB of RAM while the iPhone 11 had 4GB.

In this report it seems that this issue is truncated as it is reflected that the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro have 4GB of RAM, that is, t all this year’s iPhone models have the same amount of RAM. But we will have to wait until next September 20th when many users will already have this computer in their possession to be able to analyze its specifications much more thoroughly.

This new equipment stands out for two very significant advances in both the camera and the battery, something that is indisputable. In the first reviews we have been able to verify that we are before one of the best cameras in a mobile device of the market and without a doubt this autonomy that has now with batteries of up to almost 4.000 mAh does that already it is possible to be compared with other equipments of high range that include a similar capacity.
