Attaching Documents to Calendar Events

From iOS 13 onwards the app Calendar allows us to attach documents to different events so that we can later access them easily and quickly just when we need them. We can attach these documents either from our iPhone or iPad or from our Mac.

The process is very similar on both the iPhone or iPad and the Mac. In all cases we can attach more than one document and we can do so either at the time of creating the event, or later .

On our iPhone or iPad

  1. We open the Calendar app on our iPhone or iPad.
  2. We create a new event or, if we choose an existing one, we play Edit once we have it open.
  3. We touched Add attachment.
  4. In the selector that appears we look for the document that we want to attach.
  5. We play OK.

On our Mac

  1. We open the Calendar app on our iPhone or iPad.
  2. We create a new event or, if we choose an existing one, we double click it.
  3. We touch Add notes, URLs or attachments.
  4. We click on Add attachment.
  5. In the selector that appears we look for the document that we want to attach.
  6. We knock on the door.
