In this new section we will continue to find the news from Apple, but instead of accessing the raw press release we will see it in a “blog” format in which the design becomes much more important . And of course, there are links to share in social networks in each article and images separately.

A detail: at the moment it seems that the web gives problems if we access it from Google Chrome, returning an error forbidden . If you open it with Safari everything opens correctly.

In parallel to this, Apple has created a new senior position to be held by New York Magazine editor Lauren Kern: editor-in-chief of Apple News . So far this service, active in the United States and the United Kingdom, is limited to serving as a platform for other media. So why does Apple need a managing editor?

Cupertino may be preparing to expand the functions of Apple News, but we can’t know anything about it since Lauren herself has refused to describe her new position. This is a time full of false data invading the social networks, so perhaps this position will serve to ensure that everything that circulates in Apple News is reliable . It’s a matter of seeing what happens from now on.

Overview of the new Newsroom website

These changes mean that the web is taking on a new design where these “blogs” are becoming more important. We will have different links to be able to share with our friends, family or subscribers the most relevant news in these Apple blogs. Links in articles, images… Links in many places!

This website is very recent so you should not be surprised if it gives you problems depending on the web browser you use. Many users have already reported that you access the blog website through the Google browser (chance?), you will only get an error message where we see the word ” forbidden “. On the other hand, if you decide to open this website directly from the official browser in iOS or macOS (Safari), everything should run smoothly and normally on the system.

Change never comes alone

Although the novelty of this new format by Apple is important, it has not been the only change in this section that we have experienced today. At the same time, Apple has informed that Lauren Kern, editor of the New York Magazine in the United States, will be the new chief editor of Apple News . Please note that this Apple News service is only available in the United States and the United Kingdom. For those of you who don’t know Apple News yet, we are talking about the Cupertino guys’ news platform, where other media are limited to feeding news and content to the iOS user.

Although many people are not entirely clear about the appointment of Lauren Kern as editor-in-chief of Apple News. Cupertino’s managers may be waiting for important news in their News section. Let’s remember that California has always been a candidate for one of the technology companies that need to lead the fight against false news on the web . We live in an era where this type of information is in vogue, especially in important areas of society such as politics, religion, etc.

Apple seeks to make the latest news available to its information services without the need to resort to this type of false news. News seeks to be a regular meeting point with those unbiased readers who are looking for news in different types of fields with their respective points of view. We may have news in the next WWDC or in iOS 11 . We will keep you posted.
