It seems that today is the day of the leaks and rumors regarding the new streaming music service that Apple is preparing to compete with services such as Spotify, Deezer, Pandora, among others, since curiously enough, a few moments ago, the information emerged that the negotiations are not yet closed, which could lead Apple to decide to postpone the announcement.

But now it’s Mark Gurman’s turn, who contrasts that information and assures us that Apple’s music service will be announced during WWDC 2015 and not only that, he also brings us more details of its operation as well as some additional data.

According to the information, Apple plans to present during the keynote on June 8th the new streaming music service as we had heard before, but the novelty is that we won’t have to wait to try it out until autumn as it had been said, since the service will be launched that same June as part of the release of iOS 8.4 and iTunes 12.2 within the update for OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite.

During the WWDC startup keynote, Apple would release the latest betas with the new service included, and later that month would release the final version of both the updates and the new service. Where another surprise is that not only will it arrive in the United States, but the launch will be in several countries simultaneously .

This music service would be the union between iTunes Radio and Beats Music , even allowing Beats users to migrate their profiles to the new service and one of the features will be the possibility to forward songs in an unlimited way since we remember that iTunes Radio only allowed 6 jumps per hour.

In addition to this, we will have access to lists created by the BBC specialists who have just signed up Apple, lists that we can save for access when we have no data. Finally, rumor has it that this service will have a price of 10 dollars per month .

Setting the stage for iOS 9 “Monarch”

In addition to all this information, it has been announced, as planned, that Apple will announce iOS 9, known internally as “Monarch”, which will focus on solving performance and security issues and generally improving the user experience.

One of the novelties will be the improvement in Siri providing new functions and making it compatible with the music service, besides it will adopt the design that we knew at the Apple Watch with the colored waves.

Without a doubt this WWDC 2015 is generating a lot of expectations and a lot of announcements are expected , something that hasn’t happened for some years, fortunately we are less than a month away from knowing everything that Apple has prepared for us for the second half of the year.
