A few months have been enough for Apple to place its brand new official support account on the Twitter award winning for best customer support . The social network decided this summer to award certain accounts in different categories for their good work and relationship with users.
The @AppleSupport account took first prize for its high level of user engagement , and Twitter measured it with numbers: accumulated 150,000 Favs and RT since its creation, receiving what the award jury called “outstanding user support”.
Cupertino’s won the ‘Gold’ award mainly for the fast response , an aspect that Apple wanted to improve in order to distance itself from market standards. Did you know that the average response time in the support channels is 17 hours ?
