With the arrival of iOS 11.3 , many users have had complaints regarding the audio of their iPhone 7 . A rather serious problem where Apple has acknowledged this error, at least internally.
If your iPhone 7 has a low volume, is cut off during calls, the audio disappears, or you have any situation that causes you to experience a difficult sound situation with your phone. Apple may reach out to you and offer a replacement iPhone or a repair even if it’s out of warranty completely free.
Of course, this is not to arrive and request a change directly. You must first go to an Apple Store or send it directly to Apple so that they can verify that it is indeed an error confirmed by them. If so, the change or repair should not cost you anything.
This information comes from the hand of 9to5mac, where they have had access to an internal document of the Californian company itself. In this document, all the steps to check the abnormal operation of the terminal are explained. If this is the case, the customer’s iPhone 7 must be replaced or repaired (even if it is out of warranty) at no cost to the customer.
These bugs are collected after the release of iOS 11.3 , where we remind you that Apple has stopped signing it . At the moment, only affected units are known on the iPhone 7 and the Plus model, at least for the time being.
Luckily, the overall volume of devices appears to be not very high. But if you happen to be one of those affected, don’t hesitate to ask Apple to repair the device completely free of charge .
If you don’t have an Apple Retail Store near you, you can go to an authorized dealer to have your iPhone 7 appraised. They’ll offer you the same service as an Apple Retail Store. If you don’t know of one, contact Apple through the support app and they can provide you with a store near you.
