Maybe you don’t have the knowledge to start programming or you don’t even know where to start so you can learn bit by bit. You’re not alone, I’ve been there myself. But it seems that Apple wants to help non-programmers by making it easier to create applications for iOS.
According to Apple Insider, there is a patent published this week called “Content Configurations for Device Platforms” that describes a tool with which to create applications without the need for extensive programming knowledge . Something that we could assimilate to the already known Automator.
But without forgetting to offer the possibility of doing something more personalized according to the level of the user. No doubt we are not very surprised for several reasons: firstly that you have already done something similar with iBook Author, a tool to create interactive books for the iPad; secondly that it is a way to initiate the user in the development being able to see results faster and encouraging him to get into the programming more thoroughly; and thirdly increasing the number of people interested in creating applications for iOS increase business opportunities and therefore the benefit that Apple can get from its App Store.
