It seems that Apple is taking the transition to iOS 4 and the iPad rather calmly, at this point most of their applications are still not compatible with the new system and even most of them do not have a version for the iPad. We understand that a developer is taking the transition slowly, but Apple?
With drop count we receive the new versions, although at least these are completely worth the wait. The new version of iDisk does not include any major new features except for those derived from iOS4 such as support for multitasking a, we can now play music stored on our iDisk in the background as if it were the iPod function of the iPhone and iPod touch.
In its version for the iPad, it also comes with a design that we already know very well but that works really well. It is also an application that can be quite useful to the team since we can use it to host our documents and work with them. Any drawbacks? Well, the usual ones, the integration with the rest of the applications is quite poor, in fact we can open a file in Pages, edit it, but then we won’t be able to save the file in the cloud again.
It’s a shame Apple doesn’t go for more integration between programs. Having to send an email from Pages with the edited file attached and then have it added back to MobileMe is a bit ridiculous. You have more screenshots for both versions after the jump.
