Japan has experienced one of the worst natural disasters in its history in early July as a result of the torrential rains that have affected the western part of the country. These rains have caused numerous floods and many people have had to abandon their homes and their belongings.

This is a terrible drama that we hope will end without further damage than has already been done. Apple is usually very involved in this type of disaster and with the one in Japan it was not going to be less, the company has already officially expressed its condolences for the victims and injured and is available to its users.

As it could not be otherwise, the first thing Apple has thought of is the victims of this catastrophe offering their condolences to the families and the prompt recovery of the injured , but in addition the company is going to help all those who saw their devices damaged by the flood water.

According to a statement that can be read on Apple’s Japanese website, the company has made available to customers a phone number to repair Apple products damaged by this disaster . The company will repair any iPhone, iPad, Macs, Apple Watch or iPods affected by the water free of charge.

“We would like to express our sincere condolences to all those who received some damage due to the recent disaster and pray for an early recovery .

For victims who use Apple products, we will repair those damaged by this disaster by implementing a free repair service. Please call Apple Support and request a repair .

Supported products: Mac, iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, iPod and Apple screens that were directly damaged by the heavy rains in July” .

Apple once again proves to be an exemplary company and I am sure that this contribution will help some families who have lost many of their possessions. Let’s hope everyone recovers as soon as possible.
