On December 1st, World AIDS Day will be commemorated, and to join this date, Cupertino’s firm began to change the logos of the Apple stores in different parts of the world, and put them in red. This is done annually, and marks one of the few times that Apple changes the colors of its logo .
The users themselves have been in charge of sharing the photos of the red logos on social networks such as Instagram and Twitter, and by the time December 1st arrives, all Apple stores worldwide will temporarily present the new design.
Last year, the company changed 125 logos on its Apple Store to red, and as is the case every year, Apple will promote World AIDS Day in its stores over the course of the next week .
From November 25 to December 2, Apple will donate $1 to (RED) for every purchase made with Apple Pay on Apple.com , the Apple Store application and Apple retail stores, for a total of $1 million.
At AppleFor every purchase made at the Apple Store with Apple Pay, $1 will be donated to (RED) until December 2nd
(RED) has been a long-time Apple charity partner. Since 2006, Cupertino’s firm has raised over $220 million through promotions like this and the sale of (RED) branded products and accessories. The funds raised by (RED) go to HIV/AIDS programs in Africa as part of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
