WWDC 2019 will take place in early June, and given the proximity of the event, Apple began notifying the students who won scholarships to attend this year’s developer’s conference. For this year’s event, applications for scholarships were accepted from March 14 to March 24, and Apple promised to notify the winners on April 15.
Finally, that day has arrived and the emails have started to arrive for those who were chosen to receive the longed-for scholarship. Apple offered a total of 350 scholarships, which will include a WWDC ticket, free housing and a one-year membership in the Apple Developer Program.
To participate for the WWDC 2019 entrance, students had to create a short interactive three-minute scene on Swift Playground. As last year, the entries were judged based on technical achievement, creativity of ideas and content of written answers on the attached application.
At Apple, it’s official! WWDC 2019 will be held from 3 to 7 June in San José
This year’s Annual Apple Developer Conference will be held June 3-7 in San Jose, California. In this event Cupertino’s firm will show us the news of its main platforms and possibly some more surprises related not so much to software as to hardware. This year Apple is expected to present iOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6 and tvOS 13 as important announcements.
Once again, Apple has chosen the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, to celebrate its event with the developers. This is the same place that the company has chosen for the last three years after leaving the Moscone Center in 2016 . The event will last a total of 5 days, but it will be on the first day when we will see the inaugural keynote with all the news for users.
