Apple schedules a round of questions and answers about the HomePod, anyone can ask!

The HomePod is one of the most controversial products Apple has ever made. The smart speaker with Siri has been compared to its rivals on several occasions, and although it stands out for its sound quality, is not as powerful in the field smart , where Google Home and Amazon Echo are ahead of it.

Many users still do not find the HomePod useful . This may be the reason why it hasn’t taken off and its sales leave a lot to be desired. To try and solve this problem, Apple will hold an event to try and dispel any doubts that buyers may have about it.

Next Wednesday July 25 Apple will be holding a Q&A session in its HomePod Support Community. Users will have the opportunity to resolve any issues regarding the company’s smart speaker.

The specialists will answer these questions between 11:00 and 15:00, Pacific Time . Although they already answer some of the questions, it is to be expected that they will answer all of them and more quickly at the event.

The problems of the HomePod

The fact that the HomePod was not the success that Apple had hoped for has its explanation. On the one hand, the price. It’s not cheap. It costs 349 euros, the same as an Apple Watch and very close to the iPhone SE. Its competitors move in a much lower price range . The Google Home and the Home Mini cost 149 and 59 euros respectively. The Amazon Echo is available for 99.99 euros and the Echo Dot for 59.99 euros, although the latter is not yet available in Spain.

On the other hand, is not as smart as we would like . Siri, which was the first big artificial intelligence in smartphones, has been left behind. Both Google’s and Alexa’s (Amazon) have proved to be much more solvent than Apple’s and know how to deal with a number of different situations.

Cupertino’s should get their act together if they want to give Siri back the greatness she once had.
