Apple continues to increase its history of applications removed from the App Store. This time it’s the turn of Bang With Friends, an application with little more than a week to live, which is associated with a service that works with Facebook that appeared in January, and which allowed us to anonymously select those friends we would like to have sex with, so that when there was a mutual attraction both would be notified.
Back in January, Bang With Friends was released, a service that worked with Facebook, with which we could anonymously select which of our friends we wanted to have a sporadic sexual relationship with . In case the attraction was mutual, Facebook would notify both of them and the passion would do the rest of the work.
Well, last week it appeared in the App Store and Google Play – when the service already had one million users – but Apple has decided that it should no longer be in its app store . This was notified by the same co-founder of the service, Colin Hodge.
Now when we try to access the App Store with the link to the application we get an error that the article is not available. If we try the same with the iPhone website we get an error saying that they’re working with Apple to bring the application back , as we can see in the image that accompanies this article. The desktop web and Android application still works perfectly.
It’s pretty obvious why, is a sexual-themed app and Apple doesn’t want that in its App Store . But… didn’t they realize that before they approved it? Some Cupertino intern doesn’t check the apps well, or the reason for the removal is not that.
Of course, following that rule of three, they should eliminate applications like Badoo. The thing is that Badoo camouflages its theme much better, leaving it as a people-meeting application , although everyone really knows what we can find there.
