No doubt today was a day full of work for Cupertino’s people, because today the update to iOS 8 for iPhone, iPod and iPad devices was made available to everyone, as well as the 7.0 version for Apple TV, but these are not the only ones, since a few moments ago Apple has just released the 10.9.5 update for OS X Mavericks.

This update comes after the beta was made available to developers a month ago and almost two and a half months after version 10.9.4 was released, so we assume that this will be the last version before the arrival of Yosemite , which we hope to see at the next Apple event scheduled for October 21.

New features in this update include improvements to VPN connections via USB smart cards, as well as access to files located on SMB servers and also Safari version 7.0.6 . Remember, to access this free update all you have to do is go to “Software Update” in the apple menu on the top bar of OS X or in the “Updates” section in the Mac App Store.
