Trucos para aprovechar al máximo el Smart Keyboard del iPad Pro
Apple has detected a problem with some of the Smart Keyboards that have been sold with the iPad Pro: some tablets were apparently activated by coming out of sleep randomly but frequently when the keyboard was connected. Luckily, the company has been quick and there is already a software update that solves this.
We are not talking about an iOS update , but a specific update for that Smart Keyboard. As mentioned on this official Apple support website, all you have to do to update is unplug the Smart Keyboard from the iPad Pro and plug it back in.
Apple has not determined whether this update resolves other issues that users have encountered
When we do that, an alert will appear on the screen giving us the option to update the keyboard firmware. We wait a moment for the download to be completed and the installation is done automatically. There seems to be another error where the CMD+TAB key combination does not open the application selector sometimes, but Apple has not specified whether this update solves this problem as well.
At the moment the Smart Keyboard is only compatible with the iPad Pro, although there are rumors that the iPad Air 3 will have the same Smart Connector that would allow a smaller version of that keyboard to be connected to the 9.7-inch tablet. We’ll have to wait for next month’s supposed keynote to see if that becomes a reality.
