Apple has just released the second beta of iOS 6.01 to registered developers. This version comes a few days after the company released the first beta of this future version of the operating system.

This new beta is compatible with different models of iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and also for the AppleTV and the developers registered in the Apple program can already download and install it in their validated devices.
In addition, the iPhone manufacturer also released a new version of Xcode, Apple’s developer environment. Xcode 4.6 Developer Preview 2 (build 4H95e) which comes to fix known bugs and add new features.

So far, not many changes have been found in the new iOS 6.1 beta, although some secrets have been revealed. In addition to this small change in PassBook, the developers have detected that it is again possible to download songs from iTunes Match individually (in the first beta, only whole albums could be downloaded) and the landscape mode of the Camera application is working normally again.
This new version of the iOS 6.1 Beta is available to developers registered with the Apple Development Program and is compatible with: iPhone 3GS44S5, iPad 234, iPad Mini and for iPod Touch 45. That is, the same devices that are currently capable of running iOS 6.0.1.
Developers can download the new beta from Apple’s developer website or if they have a device with the first beta installed, they can install the new version through an OTA update via Settings – General – Software Update.
