After several betas sent to the developers, the final version of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 is now with us. It’s not just a simple bug fix update, but brings significant improvements in battery life and the inclusion of new features, such as Facebook integration or Power Nap support for the 2010 MacBook Air. Well, Apple has not done more than beg and has released the final version of OS X 10.8.2 , along with the new iPhone and iOS 6, so that everyone can take advantage of the new integration of Apple systems with Facebook.

But this is not the end of the list of improvements in this new update of the lion of the mountains. One of the most notable is that Power Nap has been enabled for the 2010 MacBook Air , so they’ll say Cupertino’s are forgetting about the older users.

  • Receive Twitter notifications for mentions of any user.
  • Automatic shortening of URLs when sending tweets from the Notification Center
  • Notifications are disabled when AirPlay is in operation.
  • Safari can now open with the tabs we had open before closing it.

As you can see, is not a simple update of internal improvements, but it adds lots of little details that polish up Mountain Lion more and more.
