With no betas in between, Apple has released the final version of iOS 11.2.1 which you can now find in your iPhone, iPad or iPad settings for download. This is the eighth update that we see in iOS 11, this one in particular being very insignificant as it has a weight of 68.7 MB. This one comes after the release of iOS 11.2 a week ago, which introduced some new features, although quite a few.
There is no visual novelty in this version, since with less than 70 MB little can be done but it does solve a bug that was tormenting the users of HomeKit that what it did was to remove the remote control from the users without previous notice and without giving any kind of solution.
We talked about this bug with HomeKit a few days ago in a post, that had arrived with iOS 11.2, quickly releasing a version of the operating system that tackles this bug that had not been seen in the previous iOS version betas.
Sometimes, in Cupertino for going fast with the software you end up making some kind of mistake, and hopefully this is not the case. Even if this was not a problem you had personally, we recommend upgrading to iOS 11.2.1 , as it is always advisable to be on the latest version of the operating system, as it incorporates some security patches, which are always welcome.
