The arrival of iOS 10.1 brought problems for some users of the Health app. In particular there were people who were not able to access the data in the app and to solve this problem Apple has just released iOS 10.1.1 for all iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch compatible with the operating system.
In this case it seems that the update is only focused on solving the mentioned problem with the Health app and, according to the company, it is the only change from the previous version of the operating system, so it doesn’t seem to be a very urgent update unless we are users of the app.
As usual, the update is now available through both OTA and iTunes.
If you choose the first update method you must access Settings – General – Software Update and follow the steps on the screen to update (you must have at least 50% of your battery charge or your device must be connected to the mains and be connected to a WiFi network).
If we prefer to use iTunes to update, we must connect the device to a computer with the latest version of the application installed and follow the instructions on the screen.
As we said, it doesn’t seem like a very urgent update, but of course it is always advisable to have the latest version available installed to avoid possible security holes found in previous versions and limit the possibility of attacks of any kind.
