Apple releases fourth beta of iOS 11.3, macOS 10.13.4 and tvOS 11.3 for developers

Apple is changing its betas calendar. We used to see one beta per week and now they are starting to space it out, reaching two weeks from the third beta. Just a few minutes ago it has been released for the developers iOS 11.3, macOS 10.13.4 and tvOS 11.3 beta 4, without knowing absolutely anything about the beta for the Apple Watch that will surely arrive a day later like two weeks ago.

As we have just received this update a few minutes ago, we have not yet had time to install and test it in order to bring you all the functionalities it may have, although they will be few. The latest iOS 11.3 beta is 381 MB, so we think that several fixes are included making this version not yet fully polished for official release.

This update is necessary because it stands out for a slight improvement in the performance of older devices , by incorporating a section to deactivate the slowdown of these terminals as we talked about in an article a few weeks ago.

In this beta we believe that as in the third beta there will be hardly any new features at an aesthetic level although it will incorporate improvements at an internal level, to have better performance and autonomy, something that we hope will end up achieving with the official launch in spring.

In the next few minutes we will be updating this same post with the different news in the three operating systems that have seen a beta version today, although we repeat, they will not be significant.

What’s new in iOS 11.3 beta is as follows:

  • The book application, has recovered its old name, “iBook”. In the third beta, it kept the name of Book, eliminating the “i” feature.
  • One line in the code of this beta would be showing that the TV app would arrive in Brazil soon.

Update] Public beta’s are now available for anyone who wants to try these versions in the testing phase, although be careful, it is still a not very stable version.
