Apple lanza iOS 11.2.2 y macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 como actualización de seguridad para mitigar los efectos de la vulnerabilidad Spectre
It’s Tuesday and Apple knows it, so the apple company has just released the fourth beta of iOS 11.2.5, watchOS 4.2.2, tvOS 11.2.5, watchOS 4.2.2 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.3. However, it is likely that the public version will arrive in the next few hours, for users registered in the Apple developer program.
At the moment, interested parties can download the latest beta versions from the Apple Developer Center or by using the software update mechanism in the various application stores .
While we don’t have any details at this time about what these operating systems will bring, beyond improvements in system performance and security, MacRumors indicates that iOS 11.2.5 has a new feature that allows Siri to play daily news podcasts when asked about current news. This way, Siri will offer news from The Washington Post by default, but will also take into account media such as Fox News, CNN or NPR (it seems that for the time being, this feature will only be available in English).
This feature can be used when using Hey Siri or when asking the wizard about the news when we are using CarPlay or even if we are with our headphones connected.
At the moment, no further details are known about what will be new in tvOS 11.2.5, watchOS 4.2.2 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.3, so it is most likely that bug fixes and performance improvements will be included for issues that were not addressed in previous versions of the operating systems.
