The first public iOS 12.1.1 beta is now available. It has only been 24 hours since Apple released the developer version. Both versions have the same new features that we told you about yesterday, but let’s go over the highlights.

This new version includes some improvements in FaceTime , being this section the most prominent. As always, Apple also emphasizes the best system performance and security.

Joining the betas program is really easy , but we do not advise you to do so unless you have some secondary equipment to perform the relevant tests. Of course, your feedback is very necessary if you find any kind of error.

As we have mentioned, one of the most important new features of this new version is FaceTime . With the latest version they have improved the interface and released some options that Apple promised at the time but for unknown reasons are no longer available.

One of them is the possibility of making live photos while we are making a FaceTime video call. We remind you that iOS 12 allows you to integrate up to 32 participants in a video call. The interface also features new shortcuts for silencing calls or changing the camera.

Another of the novelties that we have found in this new public beta, refers to Apple News , but it is not available in Spain. Maybe in the future we will be able to enjoy it, the visit of Tim Cook with the President of the Spanish Government last week could include some points related to it.

The improvements in the betas that Apple is recently publishing for iOS 12 are faithful to what was promised at the WWDC. This position of offering a more stable, secure and better performing operating system compared to other visual novelties is showing a very positive result.
