Apple has registered five unpublished iPad models in the Eurasian Economic Commission database, including A2068, A2197, A2198, A2228, A2230, according to listings discovered by MySmartPrice and confirmed by MacRumors. Even if more than one reference is seen, this does not necessarily mean that the company will launch five different machines, as it could also be the same model in different capacities, sizes and colours.
At AppleMore rumors about an iPad 7 and a 16-inch MacBook Pro are leaking from Apple’s Asian chain
This record coincides with recent rumours of the launch of the new iPad 7, a tablet that would have 10.2 inches whose production plans would already be imminent.
But in addition to the reference names of the iPads, MacRumors assures that the operating system that these devices would have installed would be the iPadOS, the new system that the iPads will carry as of September. This also gives us clues about the timing of its launch, as the tablets would not reach the market before the official release of iPadOS.
This is not the first time that the archives of the Eurasian Economic Commission have announced the launch of new products from Cupertino’s firm. Among the leaks that have taken place years ago are several models of iPad, iPad Pro, iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and AirPods .
