Apple “transformará la movilidad en la empresa” gracias a un acuerdo exclusivo con IBMVía
We recently learned about the alliance between Apple and IBM and how, since Cupertino, they have been trying to enter more seriously into the universe of large corporations. Now we can know that Apple’s efforts will not stop there and that they intend a much more aggressive campaign to attract large companies .
According to Reuters, Apple is training a sales team that will knock on the door of these large companies to try to get them to partner with Apple on technology solutions. But it won’t be a simple campaign of commercial visits, Apple knows which foot is lame and this is the possibility of offering “a la carte” applications that is usually what these big companies need.
To do this Apple is partnering with startups such as ServiceMax or PlanGrid that are dedicated to developing specific software for large companies , always in the universe Mac and iOS devices obviously. Then these sales teams, who would be in charge of knocking on the door of these corporations, would be supported by these developers who would be in charge of creating the software they would need.
Apple seems to be knocking on doors already and Citigroup may be about to sign a contract with the Bite Apple company . If we add to this the support of IBM that through a company-specific Apple Care could take care of the “on-site” repairs of iOS devices and Mac computers, Apple could succeed in its plans.
