The American company announced months ago the launch of Apple Pay in China for the beginning of 2016 and it seems that it will finally be like that. Apple Pay will arrive in the Asian country thanks to the collaboration with UnionPay , a state entity that has the monopoly of the management of credit and debit cards, as well as the different agreements that it has reached with four of the main banks in China.

Apple’s mobile payment service is having great success, even Eddy Cue and Craig Federighi commented in an interview recently that Apple Pay processes every week “billions of dollars in mobile payments” . Currently Apple Pay is only available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia, and as of this week it will also be available in China.
