The iPad Mini is becoming Apple’s competition’s worst nightmare. After announcing sales of 3 million of the latest version of the big model, the Mini is selling more than its big brother and could easily out-sell the number of units sold in December.
Eight out of ten iPad owners plan to stay with Apple, so it’s not surprising that Cupertino’s company has increased orders for the Mini model from its suppliers, reaching a year-end volume of 12 million units manufactured.
According to DigiTimes :
So what’s changed?
Two things: Performance rates have improved and the popularity of the iPad Mini has increased.
Apple suppliers provided about 4-4.5 million components for the Mini between October and November and will maintain the same level of supply throughout December.
And if yesterday’s report by DigiTimes is right, Pegatron is in luck, as it is the manufacturer that allegedly has the most production orders for the iPad Mini for the next three years.
Only yesterday Apple solved the WiFi problems of the iPhone 5 and the Mini, so there’s no longer any excuse not to buy it.
