The inaugural iOS Developer Academy program opened in October 2016 with 200 students , and the class graduated in June last year. The program has been so popular with students that some describe it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

“The Apple Developer Academy is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for exploring new ideas while collaborating with innovative minds from around the world . It is the ideal place to learn in a way that is unlike any other. I would recommend the academy to anyone who wants to learn how to develop mobile applications, or to anyone who wants to pursue a career in technology or design” , said Ash Thomas, a 26-year-old currently at the Academy.

Apple claims that the new admission means that some 1,000 students will be trained by the Academy by summer 2019 . The company clarified that the slots it is currently offering are aimed at students with and without coding or computer skills.

If you are interested, you can apply online until June 8. Apple will review the applications and then will invite the most promising candidates to take an exam and attend an interview in Naples, London, Munich or Paris.
