This is definitely the year that the company of the apple wants to make us more than clear its interest in betting on its service category, and that is why now is associating Apple Music with companies and businesses so that they can use the contents of the service in establishments, offices and retail stores.
In a partnership with PlayNetwork, companies can subscribe to Apple Music for Business plans and obtain licensed music to be played in their retail stores. Apple will provide them with human-selected playlists and even custom recommendations tailored to the individual store’s brand.
Companies that purchase Apple Music For Business will be able to control the music playing with a special application for iPhone or iPad. The Wall Street Journal notes that the program has been tested for a while and is now expanding to larger stores.
In the six months of testing, the Journal indicates that Cupertino’s firm managed to attract 25 customers to its service , with estimates offering the content in some 10,000 stores, including Apple’s own stores. To give an example, the Harrods department store is already using the service.

As part of the agreement, Harrods indicated that it will display posters in its store promoting the Apple Music service to customers. In addition, Harrods will get an affiliate commission if these posters lead to free trial subscriptions.
