The RIAA, the Recording Industry Association of America, is an organization that is currently petitioning the United States government to impose radio on all mobile devices .
Can you really do that? Apparently, according to this association, this would be one of the few ways to save this somewhat decadent industry in the 21st century.
Logically, Apple could be affected by this decision since its entire iPod and iPhone range would be included in this set of devices. Is this a problem for Apple? No, because currently all of its devices have radio chips except for iPod shuffle and iPod classic .
The problem is that although we have rumors of the creation of an application by Apple for the radio, we still have no official news from the company about this issue.
