Above all, you have to be realistic: the changes are minimal and you will hardly notice the differences in your daily life… and on top of that, I’m sure all your friends have a dock cable at home to recharge it at a given time. But if I still don’t convince you, maybe Apple will.

According to some American media, the company will replace any third generation iPad (retina) purchased in the last 30 days with one of the new models with a lightning fast connector and the new improvements as long as the device is not heavily branded and is in good condition.

But before you run to change your iPad to an Apple Store, it should be noted that this has not been officially communicated by Apple , and only one Apple Store in San Francisco has commented on this change policy. So it is best to call your Apple Store and ask what their policy is for such an event.

In any case remember that you have 14 days to change your equipment and if you bought it in the last two weeks simply go to the store and return the device.
