Apple launches two new ads to promote its new iPhone 6
Since the launch of the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Apple has run several TV ads promoting its two new phones. Now there are two more new ones, Gamers and Reservations .
It seems that the new iPhone 6 announcements in which Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon , the host of Tonight Show, do the voices of several devices on the block to present the new features of the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are being a success. In Spain, we have to make do with dubbed ads and lose the original voices, although they are also very good and very funny. These ads are a simple and direct way to introduce the public to the new functions and features of the sixth generation iPhone.
We have already had ads like Huge, which emphasized the large size of the two new iPhones, and Cameras, which presented the benefits of the new cameras on Apple smartphones, always with a humorous and funny tone. Now comes a couple of new announcements of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, which we go to detail below.
In this announcement Apple is boasting Metal, the new feature incorporated in the iOS 8 version with which the games make use of the OpenGL libraries to improve graphics. The announcement makes use of Vainglory, the new free MOBA of which you could see images in September’s keynote and which is already available in the App Store, which takes advantage of the new A8 processor.
Reservations, Continuity function
In this second ad Apple introduces the Continuity feature, which allows you to make phone calls from any iCloud connected device , from a Mac, iPhone or iPad.
In this case Cupertino’s company does not make fun of any brand of the competition to advertise the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, as we could see that if he made Microsoft with his Cortana voice assistant a few days ago, he simply uses his own devices and takes advantage of them as much as he can.
Throughout its history, the apple company has always distinguished itself from other companies by the way it advertises its products, making the most of each of its devices, and there has been an evolution in iPhone advertising since the first one was launched in 2007.
They even inspire other people, like Mike Ko, who has created a short 3D animation film as if it were an Apple commercial and which he created as part of his graduation project from the Otis College of Art and Design. If you haven’t seen the ad yet, we’ll leave you with it, it’s highly recommended.
We will surely soon see on TV the Spanish dubbed versions of this pair of ads for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Reservations and Gamers, which we have met thanks to iDownloadBlog.
