Apple Releases iOS 10 Beta 5 for Developers

Today Apple has released the beta 5 version of iOS 10 for developers on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch . iOS 10 brings a new look to Apple Music and Apple News, and includes some very exciting new features to the platform.

Cupertino’s company is scheduled to officially launch iOS 10 during the September Keynote, where they will also present the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. But until then, users who install the beta can continue to report bugs and issues to improve system stability.

Additionally, Apple has also released beta 5 of watchOS 3, tvOS 10, macOS Sierra and Xcode 8 for developers. Here is their development code:

  • macOS Sierra beta 5 (16A286a)
  • iOS 10 beta 5 (14A5335b)
  • watchOS 3 beta 5 (14S5315a)
  • tvOS 10 beta 5 (14T5321a)
  • Xcode 8 beta 5 (8S193k)

The release plan for the beta versions continues to grow as we arrive at the iPhone 7 launch event.

Public beta versions usually arrive 1 or 2 days after the developer beta release, so it is likely that tomorrow, Wednesday August 10th, Apple will release the iOS 10 public beta 4.

Users who have a previous beta version installed will be able to download the software via OTA and via iTunes. Otherwise, it is possible to register with the Apple Developer Center from the link below.
