Just a few days ago we told you on iPadizate that Alphabet, the new Google company, had surpassed Apple as the most valuable company in the world. However, that first position has been quite short, and that is that Apple has dethroned Alphabet and regained its title of most valuable company .
Alphabet has barely been able to taste the honeys of success, as their arrival at the top of this ranking has only lasted a few days. Apple has quickly climbed back to the top, a fact that has apparently been brought about by a drop in the value of Alphabet shares on the stock market.
As far as we know, the value of the shares of Alphabet has suffered a fall of 4.29%, leaving its market value at 516.2 billion dollars . This change has caused it to fall to second position and Apple to regain first place.
But the fact that Apple is once again the most valuable company in the world is not only due to the fall in the value of Alphabet shares. On the other hand, the company based in Cupertino has also experienced a slight rise in the value of its shares , specifically by 0.34%.
Therefore, it could be said that more than Apple has regained first place as the most valuable company in the world, it has been the loss of that same position by Alphabet due to the fall of its shares. Even so, the difference between the value figures of both companies is very small , so it would not be strange to see any change in positions again in the coming weeks.
If you look back, you will see that Google has not surpassed Apple as the world’s most valuable company since 2010 . Although on this occasion it did so under the name of Alphabet, a company that includes Google and the rest of its services.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that Apple is currently in decline and Alphabet is still rising , so it only remains to see how things look and who manages to take the first place in this ranking in the end.
