The latest leaks about the events Apple is preparing are throwing us off a bit. Yesterday, rumors indicated that the new iPad, some new AirPods and the AirPower charging cradle would arrive at the end of March, which would indicate that we should have a keynote presentation in the middle of the month .
This seemed logical, but as reported by BuzzFeed, Apple is preparing a special event for March 25th at the Steve Jobs Theater in which no device will probably be presented. Fortunately the dates of the WWDC where we will see iOS 13 and the rest of the Apple operating systems if they seem confirmed.
For many months now there have been rumours about the expansion of the services currently offered by Apple and led by Apple Music. At least we know that Apple is preparing a Netflix-style video service and a news and magazine service.
Tim Cook himself has confirmed that we will see new Apple-related services this year and it makes perfect sense to present them in an exclusive keynote. Perhaps hardware innovations such as the new iPad will be presented at a separate event or simply appear on the Apple Store without a keynote.
According to this information, Apple plans to offer its news service at a fee of 10 euros per month of which the company would keep half . We know almost nothing about this new service but as usual, it will most likely only be available in the US as convincing publishers is not an easy task.
We can only wait until March to confirm the event when Apple sends out the invitations. Perhaps they contain a clue to one of the most mysterious keynotes of recent years.
