Apple today published a new ad that reflects the situation in which a good part of the world’s population is right now: confined, locked in their homes and leaving only to meet basic needs. And it has done so in its typical style, showing the creativity that people are demonstrating from their homes.
In the advertisement we can see the work of several people while they are at home: professional photographs, interviews that are done from a distance, dances, live music, montages, chess games from a distance, stories, handcrafts, film projections… even weddings with their respective social distancing. And of course all this with the help of a Mac, an iPad or an iPhone .
We can also see images of the initiatives that some celebrities have done, like Oprah recording her show from her living room or the actor John Krasinsky recording the videos of his channel SomeGoodNews. The ad ends with a single sentence, “creativity goes on” .

Apple has always prided itself on empowering its customers with creativity through its products, and this ad is a good way to continue promoting this while encouraging us all to resist confinement so we can get back to normal as soon as possible.
