In connection with International Women’s Day on March 8, Apple has created a schedule of activities dedicated to bringing women together through technology. The same will run from March 1 to 31 and plans to bring together creative women to share ideas and put them into practice while using the brand’s devices such as the iPad, iPhone and Mac.
The activities framed within the “They Create” workshop will take place in Apple Stores around the world, where through exchanges the participants will learn a new skill and obtain a new perspective.
As can be seen in9to5mac the Apple sessions seek to challenge clichés and celebrate creators who work with technologies that allow new forms of self-expression . The activity seeks to align with the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day “Everyone for Equality”, which encompasses the idea that our individual thoughts and actions contribute to the larger goal of rejecting prejudice and creating gender equality.
From the official Apple website, it is now available in the calendar of events in the various Apple stores around the world with a detailed description of the events. For example, at Apple Williamsburg in Brooklyn, Marah Lidey and Naomi Hirabayashi will show you how to turn your application idea into a working prototype. As founders of the Shine self-care community, they will share their experiences as women working in the technology industry.
In the case of Spain, through the official site, the schedule of activities for March is also available in all stores. At the Apple Store in Puerta del Sol, the first activity is scheduled for March 2 from 11:00 am and is entitled Augmented Reality Experiences, in collaboration with Sarah Rothberg.
