Apple doesn’t want violence or sex in its own series

And we still don’t know exactly how those series will be, but since Cupertino they are already clear that they are going to completely dispense with adult content .

That means that whatever series Apple decides to produce, there won’t be any violence or sex in it. They prefer that the content be for the whole family and avoid controversies resulting from controversial nudes or any other compromising scene.

On the one hand, I think series like Game of Thrones or House of Cards would not be the same without their occasional scenes not recommended for minors. And if Apple does away with those scenes, it does away with potential series that could become a success. But on the other hand there is what they say in Recode: if you have never done a series, first start with something more suitable for everyone in case the flies.

The strategy, whatever it is, will be long overdue. And it will be done on an international scale, because Apple has just hired an executive from the British channel Channel 4 . He is the first television executive hired outside the United States, indicating that there will be series aimed at an international audience.
