If yesterday afternoon we knew the news that several web statistics data pointed out that Apple was working at the same time on iOS 8.1, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3, this very night we could see how Apple has distributed the beta 8.1 to the developers.
We are looking at the version of iOS 8 that will bring Apple Pay to North American users and that will surely also bring some bug fixes that currently exist in iOS 8. It is likely that as it happened in iOS 7 with iPhone 4, we will also see some kind of performance improvement for iPhone 4s.
Apple can’t afford the bug that caused the 8.0.1 update, so this beta will be fully tested. We also have new beta for the Apple TV and Xcode 6.1 beta 3 . All these updates are available on the Apple website if you are a developer.
Some developers report that there are references (in addition to Apple Pay) to a Touch ID sensor on the iPad , so everything points to the Keynote we will see this October will be presented an iPad with this sensor. What we don’t know for sure is if they will bring an NFC sensor to use with Apple Pay, but it’s possible that it will.
