Apple clarifies that all iPhone 6 and above can change its battery

A few days ago Apple finally recognized that the older iPhones were being re-launched by the operating system itself because the battery status was getting worse. They tried to tackle the problem with a press release apologizing and opening a battery replacement plan that is not free, but is priced at £29 (which we don’t like at all) and is available from now on at Apple stores or authorized technical services.

But many people have requested this battery change from an authorized service center or an Apple Store, but have been turned away . The reason? Because they passed all the tests correctly and that’s why the technicians said that that iPhone was not a candidate for a battery change even if the user noticed his own terminal was much slower. But Apple has been clear and emphatic , as picked up by the medium iGeneration. Anyone who goes to a SAT with a desire to make a battery change and with the 29 euros in hand, will be able to take advantage of this battery replacement program, provided it is an iPhone 6 or higher. The only condition that is obvious, is that the terminal must not present any other physical problem or interfere with other components.

However, if you plan to make this battery change using the warranty or AppleCare , substantial damage should be detected in the tests performed by the technicians themselves. If in these tests the battery in theory works well, they will not be able to make this change through the warranty, and you will have to pay the 28
