Apple announces the date of its October Keynote

After a sea of doubts, Apple has finally sent out the invitations for its October event where we hope to see various products that were left in the inkwell last September 12th. We’re talking about the new iPad Pro and the second generation AirPods, among other surprises such as a renewed MacBook that will finally retire the MacBook Air. Specifically , Apple has invited us all to attend on October 30th at 16:00 (Spanish peninsular time).

Apple wanted to wait until after the launch of the iPhone XR for its October presentation, in order to obviously avoid focusing on this keynote and not on its new iPhone, which promises to have very good sales.

As we said, Apple has sent just a few minutes ago the invitations to this Keynote that will be held in New York at the Howard Gilman Opera House at 10:00 EDT, that is to say 16:00 in our country, one hour less in the Canary Islands. The message accompanying this invitation is “There’s more in the making” which can be translated literally as “There’s more in the making”, a clear nod to the iPad Pro.

In this event we expect a new renewed iPad Pro in two sizes with a design line very similar to that of the iPhone X , ie just have a frame on the screen and remove the Touch ID system implementing Face ID but we will have to consider the presence of notch as in our iPhone. In addition, the Lightning connector could also be removed to make way for the USB-C.

In addition to these new iPad Pro, all the rumours are that Apple will also be introducing a new MacBook from 13″ which will replace the MacBook from 12″ and the MacBook Air which has not been renewed for several years now. There is no doubt that the user is demanding a competent entry-level laptop and we hope that on October 30th, Apple will finish giving it to us.

Along with this new Mac, many of us are waiting for the second generation of AirPods with highly demanded improvements such as water and dust resistance and the “Hey Siri” command to be able to communicate with our voice assistant in a much easier way, as Apple showed us last September 12th.

And enthusiasts are also betting on the final release of AirPower and a new Mac Mini. We hope that this event will be full of news and that you won’t be disappointed. Of course that day we’ll be following up on everything presented from New York here at Apple5x1, are you going to miss it?

Leave us in the comment box what you think about this new autumn event, what do you expect Apple to present?
