Not long ago, we talked in AppleSupportPhoneNumber about the possibility that Apple could enter the market of smart glasses, like Google Glass, or the virtual reality market, where Facebook with its Oculus and Microsoft with HoloLens were already making their moves and were developing devices that looked pretty good and could be very well placed in a market that is still untapped .
The information that we have had access to today from 9to5Mac is that Apple would already be immersed in the development of a possible virtual reality system , and for this, it would be looking for engineers who are experts in this field of technology . More specifically, Apple would be looking for someone with proven expertise in monitoring and projection technologies to participate in the development of a very high-fidelity virtual reality environment .
With regard to virtual reality, it must be said that Apple already has its own patent . This patent would consist, as we can see in the image, of a pair of glasses that would have a connection with our iPhone , and to which we could adapt them, so that they would act as a screen and offer the image processing and projection functions.
Other features of these Apple glasses would be to have a Lightning port, audio system with haptic response, control system through physical and voice buttons, where Siri would have one more application . We would also have a remote control device to ultimately control the device without touching it.
In conclusion, this is one more patent, which does not guarantee that we will finally see a product of these characteristics on the market , but it can indicate the direction towards which Apple could direct its efforts if it wants to develop a new product and which it does not yet have in its complete range of devices.
