Apple acquires the rights to the renowned ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment

The company on the block is still thinking about creating its own content and that is why The Hollywood Reporter indicated that recently acquired the rights to the segment ‘Carpool Karaoke’ which is part of ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’. According to the media, Apple’s idea is to turn this space into its own series that would be broadcast through ‘Apple Music’.

The company also plans to have the ‘Carpool Karaoke’ series produced by CBS Television Studios and Fulwell 73, the production company of the ‘Late Late Show’. The format will be very similar to the current segment, with famous guests singing their favourite songs and surprising some fans along the way . The Hollywood Reporter also indicated that the host of the series will not be James Corden, so it is expected to be announced soon.
