There seems to be some problems when sending screenshots from an iPhone 7 to a Google Pixel , as the screenshots are distorted when received.
The problem only manifests itself when you try to send a screenshot from iPhone to Pixel, as opposed to a Pixel smartphone to an iPhone working properly.
As we have seen from the discussion forums of the new Google product, the captures of any application (whether native or not) appear pixelated (never better) and with color distortion.
It is interesting to note that the problem still persists in “Safe Mode” , which suggests that this is not a bug in a third-party application.
Also, the problem does not occur with iPhone screenshots in Android 7.0 or earlier.
In fact, screenshots from other Android devices and iPhone 6, 6s are displayed correctly. So, as far as we know, this incompatibility problem only concerns Google’s Pixel phones and Android Nougat 7.1.
Some kind of compatibility error must exist between Android 7.1 Nougat with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus that does not allow them to communicate accurately. No matter which messaging application you use, the problem affects all of them.
According to some Pixel smartphone owners the problem is intermittent and they sometimes receive screenshots of the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus correctly and only with certain applications.
Google has not yet taken a position on this. Until then, all users using Android 7.1 Nougat will not be able to receive screenshots from the iPhone 7.
