Apple se alía con Volkswagen para crear sus próximos vehículos de transporte público, según NYT

We don’t see anything from the outside, but of course Apple is making important moves for divisions that we still know very little about. From Fast Company we read how the company has hired Jaime Waydo , one of the best engineers Google had in its autonomous driving division called Waymo.

Engineers like these are in great demand among the great technologies, since they are all involved in the construction of either autonomous cars or platforms on which such vehicles can be based and moved. And it is precisely Apple that is investing the most resources in this effort.

The other major signing is George Ergatoudis , formerly music manager of the BBC public radio who has subsequently been responsible for content in the English division of Spotify. From now on he will be at Apple Music, and probably to run the whole UK division.

This service has improved a lot lately: web player, new section ‘Coming soon’, records of reproductions in some music releases… Apple wants to keep this good rhythm of improvements and growth having the best professionals. Let’s see if this way Cupertino reaches the same level of paying subscribers as Spotify.
