Amazon announces its third Prime Day, which will come loaded with offers

Amazon has just announced its flagship event, the Amazon Prime Day 2017 . This is the third year in a row that this event takes place, which is a great opportunity to get hold of great products at low cost.

Amazon Prime Day, the summer Black Friday

Amazon Prime Day retains the same essence as Black Friday, but in a way that is exclusive to users of Amazon Prime (what was previously Amazon Premium). This way, for 30 hours we can enjoy succulent discounts and flash offers .

Undoubtedly, with this we can think that the company intends to attract more users to the premium version of the platform. But let’s remember that it costs approximately 20 euros , and in addition to free shipping in 1 day, it includes unlimited photo storage, access to a limited catalogue of films and series, and access to offers and events like this one. Therefore, it may be that the shots go elsewhere.

What will we see on Prime Day? When? Where?

In this event we will see two clearly differentiated types of offers.

On the one hand, on the day July 11 at 00:00 until 24:00 of the same day, the more traditional discounts will take place. In other words, some permanent discounts will be applied to a number of items or categories of items.

But before that, on July 10th at 18:00 the flash offers will start. These offers will be brought forward to the “official” day of the Prime Day, and every 5 minutes new flash offers will appear, which will have a limited amount of products at that price. Therefore, only the most fast ones will be able to be made with these offers, and this is where real bargains can be found. However, if you are lucky enough to get one of the units, the more succulent the discount, the fewer units there will be and the less time the offer will last. And of course, these offers will end on July 11th at 24:00 , just like the permanent offers.

As we said, to get access to these rebates you have to have an account on Amazon Prime , but there is also one more restriction. These offers only apply to the countries listed below . Furthermore, remember that if you have an account with Amazon Spain, this account is also available with the other websites, except Amazon Japan.

  • Germany
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Canada
  • China
  • Spain
  • United States
  • France
  • India
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • Mexico
  • United Kingdom

Hunting for the best bargains!

To hunt this chollos you have to be very fast , because as we said, the products with the best prices will be sold out very quickly, or there will be few units. Therefore, Telegram channels that notify about offers become a very powerful tool.

But for me the most powerful tool is undoubtedly the price takers. Our ADSL Zone partners recommend the use of extensions for Google Chrome , although I personally am not a big fan of browser extensions, so I will now show you the web I use to analyze prices.

The website I use is called CamelCamelCamel , and it is just a follower of Amazon prices. This way, with a simple glance you will know if it is a real offer or a “foolish trick”. It is also very easy to use. Just enter your website, paste the product URL into the search engine and you will have access to the graphics. These graphics show how the price of the product has changed, both the official Amazon price and the price of third parties (always taking the lower one as a reference).

In addition, I also recommend having an alternative shop open on one side . For example, if you want to buy an electronic product, I recommend having the website of El Corte Inglés, Worten or MediaMarkt open on the side so you can compare prices.

On days like this, consumerism rules. Therefore, my last piece of advice will be self-control . Although the offers can be very succulent, so as not to end up spending hundreds of euros on days like these, I recommend not buying anything that you haven’t planned, as well as setting yourself a limit.

What do you think? Are you an Amazon Prime user? Are you planning to buy something in these sales?
